Diefenbunker Romantic Evening Will Test The Depth Of Your Love

Want to reassure your significant other that they're safe? A 100,000 square-foot bunker made of concrete and steel is here to help. For the third year in a row, couples can spend Valentine's inside the Diefenbunker, the underground safehouse built during the Cold War to house then-prime minister John Diefenbaker and other important government figures in case of nuclear attack.

The evening, cheekily-titled 'From Berlin, With Love' features a three-course meal, live musical entertainment and a screening of the critically-acclaimed German film 'Wings of Desire' (Der Himmel über Berlin) for $55 per couple, or $60 per individual. An optional tour of the bunker, which is now a museum, is also offered.

The bunker, which was built in 1961, closed down in 1994 but reopened as a museum in 1997.
