Lovers of Mexican cuisine and traditional Vietnamese dishes, unite! Thanks to one L.A. restaurant, you can now enjoy a delicious mash-up of burritos and pho, aptly named the "Phorrito."
The pho-burrito hybrid, according to Foodbeast, contains rice, rib-eye steak, bean sprouts, cilantro, onions, Thai basil, jalapeno, lime juice and, of course, pho noodles, wrapped in a flour tortilla. The burrito is topped with Sriracha and hoisin sauce.
The Phorrito is currently only available at one of two brick-and-mortar locations of the L.A.-based Komodo Cafe. Komodo, described by L.A. Weekly as a fusion-forward Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant, originally created the hybrid dish as a limited edition chalkboard special, but its popularity has prompted the restaurant to keep the dish around for the remainder of November.
