Police are hunting for a man caught on surveillance camera in an Abbotsford veterinary clinic Monday night, after a woman working there was sexually assaulted.
The attack allegedly happened around 8 p.m. PT, when the man entered the clinic on the 32100 block of South Fraser Way and engaged the woman in some conversation.
Police say the suspect began moving closer to the woman and the service counter, before suddenly moving behind the counter and grabbing and groping her.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, broke free and yelled at the suspect until he fled the store, police say.
The suspect is described as a South Asian man in his 20s, approximately six feet tall with a slim build, dark hair and sideburns.
He was wearing a red jacket with white stripes, black track pants, a light green shirt and white running shoes.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Abbotsford Police at 604-859-5225 or text 222973 (abbypd). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous may do so through Crime Stoppers.
