She sure doesn't look like a one-hit wonder.
Comic book and movie lovers alike got their first peek at Gal Gadot's portrayal of Wonder Woman in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. The 29-year-old Israeli heroine-to-be showed off the big reveal at the fan fest, alongside her DC brethren, Henry Cavill, the returning Superman, and Ben Affleck, who will suit up as the caped crusader in the sequel.
Director Zack Snyder was also on-hand for the occasion, and tweeted out a photo of Wonder Woman's ensemble, just in case you missed it.
Writing, "Great time at #SDCC this year #WonderWoman #DCTrinity," it's a look that leaves little to the imagination.
Rocking a skin-tight, rust-coloured gothic corset, the character has a sword in hand, with the trademark lasso of truth resting at her hip. Striking a battle pose in her knee-high leather boots, Gadot means business. Tweeting, "I'm ready... are you?" the "Fast & Furious" actress also shows off the golden eagle crest hammered into her costume's bustier, along with bulletproof bracelets, and a heroic tiara -- another piece of armour.
Though Gadot, Cavill and Affleck did not speak at Hall H, the superhero portraits and mini movie sizzle reel did all the talking. Online, the Wonder Woman suit was an instant hit, with 54 per cent of TODAY Show viewers calling it a "perfect" look, as another 26 per cent simply dubbed it, "OK."
Gadot, who performed all of her own stunts in the "Fast & Furious" franchise, has been criticized for being "too skinny" to play the iconic character. She responded to this uproar in an Israeli interview in December, saying:
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is currently in shooting in Detroit, and is slated for a May 6, 2016 release in North America. The film also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, among others.

"I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world. Breasts… anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels and everything is fine. By the way, Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I’d really go “by the book”…it’d be problematic."
