One person was arrested for entering the SkyTrain track area between New Westminster and Surrey, B.C., early Saturday night, Transit Police said.
The arrest came after TransLink issued an alert about a system-wide shutdown due to an intrusion near Scott Road Station at 6:50 p.m. PT
A few minutes later, riders on a stopped train on the SkyTrain bridge over the Fraser River, known as the SkyBridge, saw a man running past their windows.
Just before 7:30 p.m., Const. Clint Hervias tweeted that a person had been taken into custody for entering the track area, and that full train service had resumed across the system.
