A 39-year-old man is dead after a skydiving accident in Georgina, Ont., police say.
York Regional Police said on Twitter that they are investigating the incident, and that the man was parachuting with the Parachute School of Toronto around 6:30 p.m. ET Saturday.
Few other details were available.
It's the third skydiving death linked to the same school in the past year:
- In May, a woman who was called an experienced skydiver plummeted to her death north of Toronto near Baldwin Airport.
- In July 2013, a man in his 40s, also described as an experienced skydiver, died near the airport after he was taken to hospital in Newmarket.
