Two men were arrested last week in connection to the 2013 murder of Danny La, who died as a result of his injuries caused by a baseball bat during a street fight in Toronto's Chinatown.
La, 22, was one of two men beaten with a baseball bat outside a restaurant on Spadina Avenue on Sept. 30.
He died nearly one month later in hospital as a result of severe head injuries.
Police said that an altercation between the two victims, their friends and another group of men earlier in the night at Union nightclub, located at 473 Adelaide Ave, was the root of the assault.
On Thursday, June 5, Toronto Police arrested two Hamilton men in connection with the murder.
John Pham and Somlack Litthiman, both 24, have each been charged with:
- Second-Degree Murder
- Attempted Murder
- Aggravated Assault
Both accused appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, June 6, 2014
