The city’s executive committee voted in favour of a $10-million loan that, if approved by council, would be used to help renovate BMO Field.
It’s all part of a proposal to make the stadium capable of hosting Toronto Argonauts games.
The full cost of the proposed expansion project is $120 million, a plan which would seek $10 million in matching funding from both the federal and provincial governments.
