The death of 26-year-old man found inside an Uxbridge home Friday morning has been ruled a homicide, Durham police say.
Richard Morrison was found in a Galloway Crescent home by another resident at approximately 6:30 a.m. this morning.
The death is Durham Region’s second homicide of 2014.
No arrests have been made and investigators are looking to speak with anyone who “has knowledge of Mr. Morrison’s activities prior to this morning.”
Police said they don’t believe there is any immediate danger to the community.
Forensic and homicide investigators are expected to be at the home for several days, police said.
A search of the immediate vicinity around the home has already been completed for evidence.
