A young boy with the heart of a warrior has inspired a new children's book written by his school principal.
Six-year-old Hercules Stergiou, named after the mythic Greek strongman, has a rare form of cerebral palsy that severely restricts his mobility. But Bowmore Road Public School principal Thelma Sambrook said you'd never know judging by the student's toughness and his positive spirit, the CBC's Shannon Martin reports.
"Every single day, he's happy. One would never know he faces challenges," Sambrook said.
The picture book, entitled All About Me — Hercules, is being sold through the Toronto District School Board, with proceeds going towards the Hospital for Sick Children.
