A burst water main that flooded UBC's Museum of Anthropology has been plugged, but staff are still assessing the damage to the institution.
Water flooded into the building for about 15 minutes after the water main burst on Marine Drive on Wednesday afternoon.
Staff said most of the water that made it inside the building was contained, but some objects in the lobby may have been damaged.
Fire crews, crews from UBC plant operations and security staff are on scene assessing the situation.
