Ottawa police are asking for help to find a 2000 black BMW 328i in relation to the knife-point abduction of an 18-year-old woman in Orleans Tuesday afternoon.
The driver, believed to be 20-year-old Andrew Bettencourt, could be armed and dangerous, according to police. Police believe 18-year-old Harmony Nihn is a passenger in the vehicle. Bettencourt is Nihn's ex-boyfriend, police sources say.
The car with the Ontario plate BTAN 435 was last seen travelling eastbound on Highway 417.
Police received the initial call about a possible abduction at 3:40 p.m.
