It’s another cold and snowy day in Toronto, with the temperature dipping into the negative double-digits.
Environment Canada says that between two and four centimetres of snow is expected to fall on Toronto on Sunday afternoon, with periods of light snow continuing into the evening.
The city is also under an extreme cold weather alert. As of the mid-afternoon the temperature stood at -10 C, but with the windchill, it was feeling more like -18 C.
The cold and snowy weather has been causing problems on roads across Ontario this weekend.
Since Friday, the Ontario Provincial Police say they have responded to more than 1,600 crashes, including three fatal ones.
As a result, police are advising the public to stay off the roads unless they absolutely have to go somewhere.
