Two Subway employees took a novel approach to dealing with a robber in their store: They just didn’t pay attention to him.
The man walked into the sandwich shop in Coventry, RI, on July 27 and asked two teenaged workers to give him money, according to local police. The two didn’t react in time, so the suspect left.
Surveillance camera video shows the man looking annoyed, police told NBC News. He "mumbled something under his breath as he walked out of the business," they said.
He’s been described as being in his mid-40s to 50s and wearing what looked like a white T-shirt on the top of his head and a tan shopping bag around his face.
So this guy didn’t get his money or a sandwich. Better luck next time?
