Two Toronto men are wanted by police in connection to an abduction and gang sexual assault that occurred on Monday in Mississauga.
The incident happened early Monday morning at about 4 a.m.
Police say a 25-year-old woman and two of her friends were in the Dundas Street West and Winston Churchill Boulevard area of Mississauga when their vehicle stopped. Two men pulled up in a van to offer assistance. When the women's vehicle still didn't work, the men offered the women a ride home.
While en route, one of the women was allegedly sexually assaulted. The van then stopped and two of the women were allowed to leave.
The third woman was abducted and the van fled the area, according to police.
The two men allegedly sexually assaulted the woman, who was eventually able to escape.
A passerby contacted police after hearing a woman call for help in Toronto's Weston Road and Black Creek Drive area.
Police have identified one of the suspects as Jimmy Minani, 36. The other is a man known as Devon.
Minani is wanted for:
- Abduction.
- Forcible confinement.
- Two counts of gang sexual assault.
- Robbery.
- Threaten bodily harm.
- Two counts of failing to comply with recognizance.
Police say he may be driving an older-model red Audi. He is known to frequent the Black Creek and Weston Road area.
The other suspect, Devon, is described as black with dark complexion, six feet to six feet two inches with a large build. He was last seen wearing a hoodie, dark jeans and a blue baseball cap.
