An overflow of traffic at the Tim Hortons in Terrace, B.C. is causing a whole latté trouble.
Police said that the morning drive-thru lineup at the chain's Highway 16 location is blocking the sidewalk and a nearby street, according to the Terrace Standard.
“Drivers making poor choices are creating a traffic hazard," RCMP Cpl. Philip Crack told the outlet, adding the problem is especially bad between 7:30 and 9 a.m.
Commuters could face a $40 ticket, butcaffeine addicts repeat offenders could be hit with a whopping $196 fine, according to CBC News. (That's about 115 medium Tim Hortons coffees.)
The city of Terrace — which has a population of about 20,000 people — has one other Tim Hortons.
RCMP in Fort McMurray, Alta. recently issued a similar warning, even putting up "no stopping" signs to remind drivers not to block the road.
