After separating from Robin Thicke last February, actress Paula Patton has now filed for divorce from the "Blurred Lines" singer.
Us Weekly confirmed the development with the Los Angeles Superior Court while also reminding readers that last winter their sources reported that the split was "a long time coming" and "their marriage was unraveling for a long time."
Thicke and Patton had been together since they were teenagers, and began dating back in 1993. They married in 2005.
TMZ reports Patton cited irreconcilable differences and wants joint custody of their four-year-old son.
Patton left Thicke in the wake of cheating rumours following his infamous MTV VMA performance with Miley Cyrus in 2013, though he recently claimed she left him due to his drug abuse. Thicke subsequently released an album called "Paula" and a song called "Get Her Back."
The album had historically low sales.
