OK, this grizzly actually IS smarter than the average bear.
A researcher in Montana thought a bear would fall for an experiment in which a deer's carcass was strung up and electrified.
The researcher thought maybe — MAYBE — it could be used as a deterrent for the large animals.
A grizzly took up the challenge, sniffing around the carcass before enduring a couple of shocks. It ran away, but it didn't give up. The bear kept on pawing at the carcass, intent on ravaging this dead deer.
And then something hilarious happened, which made the researcher look like a complete dolt: it unplugged the battery and carried away its dinner.
