Kerry Washington has her head in the clouds (literally).
The new mom attended a party for The Limited Collection inspired by the hit TV show "Scandal" in New York on Monday wearing the cloud-print dress of our dreams.
Kerry, who gave birth to daughter Isabelle Amarachi five months ago, looked gorgeous in the blue-and-white peplum frock designed by Giles Deacon.
Naturally, the 37-year-old's hair and beauty looks were on-point, too: a pretty fishtail braid, nude lips and a navy eye complemented her sexy look, which featured a form-fitting bodice and a low-cut neckline.
Kerry teamed up with "Scandal's" costume designer Lyn Paolo as well as Elliot Staples—The Limited's head of design—to make chic styles that work well for day-to-night.
Pieces include Olivia Pope staples: a pastel coat, a no-nonsense blouse and a white cape trench.
"Dressing as a Gladiator means not being afraid to have it all—to be glamorous, smart, powerful, and sexy," said Washington of the collection. "There’s this history in fashion that in order to be a powerful woman means you have to dress like a man, and we wanted to go away from that. We wanted to figure out how to express both power and femininity through fashion for this character, because she’s a woman who is not afraid to be the most powerful character in the room."
