EDMONTON - Administrators of an Edmonton hospital are dealing with a fly problem.
Covenant Health, the Catholic healthcare organization that operates the Misericordia Hospital, says they've had pest control come in to check it out.
They've determined that the flies don't pose any health risk and that they're just a nuisance.
Covenant Health says pest control isn't sure where the flies are coming from, but they're planning to do a full treatment of the clinic this weekend to get rid of them.
The flies are only in the family medicine centre, which is separate from the rest of the hospital.
The 45-year-old facility was scheduled to be replaced or at least rebuilt six years ago.
