Friends and family of Crystal Ratvay have not seen or heard from her since she drove away from her parents' house Sept. 9.
The 33 year old woman from Abbotsford is active on social media but hasn't posted anything in a week nor has she used her cell phone.
Her brother, Adam Ratvay, says his sister has struggled with depression in the past but has always maintained regular contact with her parents so it's very out of character for her to have kept her silence this long. Speaking at a news conference, he pleaded for her to reach out.
"Crystal if you are watching this, we love you, we miss you and please come home," he said.
Abbotsford Constable Ian MacDonald says there is nothing to indicate foul play nor are other persons suspected in the disappearance. Although police have received numerous tips and sightings, they are looking for more help.
Ratvay is described as:
- 5’3” tall, with a slim build
- 115 pounds
- blue eyes and long, blonde hair
- last seen in a green 1997 Plymouth Neon, license plate 004 NRL
