There's a different kind of Rainn in Vancouver right now, and he's showing some love for the city's arts.
In town to film his new TV Fox show "Backstorm," actor Rainn Wilson and his 10-year-old son, Walter, recently attended a Bard on the Beach production of the Shakespeare classic "A Midsummer Night's Dream." And, as he said on Twitter on Tuesday, he really liked it:
"So much talent all around," he added.
Bard on the Beach, which is staged on the waterfront in Vancouver's Vanier Park against a spectacular backdrop of mountains, sea and sky, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
Wilson is best known for his role as Dwight Schrute on the American version of the British comedy "The Office."
His new show "Backstorm" is about an offensive yet brilliant detective (Wilson) who is brought back to Portland (after being in exile) to run the city's special crimes unit.
