When someone dies a shocking death, like Robin Williams yesterday, it's hard not to be sad. But it's important also to remember their life's accomplishments, and Williams was a most accomplished man.

One of our favourites Robin Williams moments here at HuffPost Canada was back in 2000 when Matt Stone and Trey Parker were awesomely nominated for an Academy Award for their classic ode to finger-pointing "Blame Canada" from the movie "South Park: Bigger, Longer Uncut."

For the song's Oscars performance, the pair asked Robin Williams to sing it. He, of course, did a magnificent job, opening with "Oh my God, they killed Kenny!" before bringing sociopolitical satire, toilet humour and Margaret Trudeau jokes to the Oscar stage.

But for the record, Anne Murray is very nice lady (and we are a real country, anyway).
