Montreal police are investigating after a video surfaced on the internet of a woman plucking — and eating — a raw bird on the Metro.
Police say they were first made aware of the video posted on YouTube when it was reported by a citizen.
It shows a woman between the ages of 17 and 25 riding in a crowded Metro car near Jean Talon station.
She is seen taking a whole, dead bird out of a plastic bag and plucking it on the spot before eating a piece of the animal.
“She was eating a raw bird inside the train and there’s people that were disgusted by this incident,” said Const. Manuel Couture with the Montreal Police.

Investigators with the Montreal police transit division are searching for the young woman.
Couture said she could face charges of disturbing the peace. They are not ruling out that the woman could suffer from a mental illness.
“It’s not excluded that we offer help and resources to her,” said Couture.
Police say if metro riders see a similar incident they should call 911, or Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.
