A little boy locked himself a vehicle today, an incident that police say left him in "some medical distress" even though he was freed within 10 minutes.
Halton Regional Police say they were called to Milton's Bronte Meadows Park after the two-year-old child had accidentally locked himself inside the vehicle, shortly before noon on Sunday.
An officer broke a window and got the boy free. Paramedics were called to assess the child.
Police say the incident was an accident, but they are reminding the public that a child left unattended in a car is potentially a life-threatening situation.
