Power has been restored to roughly half of the those Brampton who were hit by a blackout early this evening.
Hydro One Brampton said shortly after 7 p.m. it had restored power to some 3,000 of its customers, leaving roughly the same number in the dark.
"Crews continue to try to find the cause," said the utility company said via Twitter.
The lights first went out at about 6 p.m. near Sandalwood Parkway and Dixie Road.
