Two men are dead after a plane crash near Torquay, Sask. Sunday afternoon.
RCMP said emergency crews were working at the crash site at around 2 p.m. CST, along with Transport Safety Board investigators.
The names of the men will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
RCMP did not initially release the time of the crash, nor whether there were any other people aboard the plane that went down.
Environment Canada issued alerts that thunderstorms and funnel clouds could develop in that area Sunday afternoon. There is no word on whether weather may have played a factor in the crash.
Torquay is about 200 km south of Regina.
