WINNIPEG - Manitoba Progressive Conservatives say wait times continue to increase for patients taken to hospital by ambulance.
The official Opposition says statistics show patients waited 81 minutes, on average, for emergency room treatment in the first three months of this year.
That's compared with an average of 75 minutes for all of last year.
Tory Leader Brian Pallister says the government has promised to address the problem but it seems to be getting worse.
Health Minister Erin Selby has said the government has made several moves to cut emergency room wait times, such as setting up quick-care clinics for less-urgent cases.
