A barbecue exploded in a neighbourhood in Barrie, Ont. today, at about the same time that a pig went running down the same street.
The explosion call came at 7:30 a.m. local time Sunday at the town located 100 kilometres north of Toronto.
Police arrived at an address on Hickling Street, where they found the barbecue explosion had slightly damaged the residence.
They also got a call about a "large hog" running along Hickling Street.
The pig, whose name is Isabelle, was located and returned to its owner.
Police say the two incidents are coincidental.
