Hundreds of students at a Toronto area school took part in celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day on Friday.
The annual global day of action is part of Oliver’s effort to get young people into the kitchen to cook up healthy and tasty meals.
The goal this year was to set a Guinness world record with one million school kids worldwide taking part in a live cooking lesson with Oliver. The UK-based chef joined the students live via webcam to make a beet salad wrap.
The CBC’s Lucy Lopez was on hand at Robert Service Senior Public school to catch the culinary revolution take off.
