The whole mystery surrounding the death of homecoming queen Laura Palmer may finally be revealed as "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me" and the beloved TV series are set to be released on Blu-Ray July 29.

Entertainment Weekly broke the news Thursday that the surreal television show and film would be released as part of "Twin Peaks — The Entire Mystery," a box set that includes almost 90 minutes of deleted and alternate scenes from the movie.

It will also include an epilogue that promises a "fascinating glimpse beyond the cliffhanger finale of the TV series," according to CBS Home Entertainment.

"During the last days in the life of Laura Palmer many things happened, which have never been seen before," co-creator David Lynch, who personally supervised the box set, said in a statement.

The box set comes after fans petitioned for the release of deleted scenes from "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me" starting in 2011.

Series co-creator Mark Frost had said it was possible that the deleted scenes could be released as part of a Blu-Ray edition of the "Gold Box."

Frost quashed fans' dreams earlier this year when he said that a rumoured revival of the series would not happen, The Guardian reported.
