Pitcher R.A. Dickey has quickly become a Toronto fan favourite since joining the Blue Jays last season.
The 2012 National League Cy Young Award winner is infamous among hitters for his unique ability to throw dizzying knuckleballs, and has found most of his success relatively late in his career.
Off the field, Dickey has become a vocal advocate for victims of child sexual abuse, something Dickey himself suffered through growing up.
The CBC’s Dwight Drummond sat down with Dickey to talk about the Blue Jays' season, his charitable work off the field, and of course, to get an impromptu lesson in throwing a major league knuckleball.
