A young girl died in a collision in southwestern Ontario Sunday, when the car she was travelling in collided with a piece of farm equipment.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision happened shortly after 9 a.m. on Main Street in Otterville, which lies about 30 kilometres south of Woodstock.
Police say that a car was moving westbound when it struck a Terra-Gator sprayer going in the opposite direction.
An adult woman was driving the car and she suffered minor injuries in the crash, as did three other children who were in the back seat. The nine-year-old girl died at the scene.
The male driving the sprayer was unhurt.
The collision remains under investigation.
