A barn that housed a legal marijuana grow-op until recently has burned to the ground.
The Port Kells area fire has been deemed "suspicious" by police on Monday, CBC News reports.
Amarjit Kang, the building's owner, told the news outlet that the barn was being used as a legal grow-op until two weeks ago, when the three men who were running it moved out because he was increasing their rent.
The men were upset by the price change, he said to Global News. He also added that his estimated total financial loss is $4 million.
According to CTV News, six fire crews were sent to battle the blaze.
