Kate Williamson has died, The Hollywood Reporter confirms. The actress, best known for her role as Mrs. Rogers in Ellen DeGeneres' '90s sitcom, passed away Friday night (Dec. 6). She was 83.
"She had been in failing health for quite some time," Williamson's manger Judy Fox said in a statement.
Williamson's death comes shortly after that of her husband, character actor Al Ruscio, who passed away at age 89 on Nov. 12.
In addition to her role on "Ellen," the actress will be remembered for her parts in such movies as "Disclosure," "Touch," The Hi-Lo Country" and "Dahmer," as well as television shows "Home Improvement" and "7th Heaven."
