Thursday was Bring Your Own Cup Day at 7-Eleven in Winnipeg, in which residents were invited to fill almost any container of their choosing with Slurpees.
You would think there'd be little need for Slurpees in a city where the temperature is dipping as low as -17 degrees Celsius. But this being the Slurpee capital of the world for 14 years running, Winnipeggers joyfully filled up almost any apparatuses they had.
Here are some of the best (worst?) ones we saw.
Water Cooler Jugs
Rice Cooker
Trash Bins
Ice Cream Bucket
Pringles Can and a Baby Wipe Box
Gas Can
Glass Boot
Skull Glass
Protein Container
Fish Bowl
Cocktail Glass, Because, Classy
Pineapple Cup
Giant Pickle Jar
Blender
