A Surrey RCMP officer has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injures after a car crash in Surrey this afternoon at King George Boulevard and 108 Avenue.
Police say the accident involved another car and a van.
The driver of the car and a passenger suffered minor injuries.
Police say the officer had just put his lights on to respond to a call when the crash occurred.
The car T-boned the police cruiser, sending it into the third vehicle.
Police say it is likely the area will remain closed to traffic into the rush hour and motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
